One of my  Spring ‘must-haves” is a new pair of awesome, light-wash, destructed jeans. I am so excited about the return of indigo denim. It’s been all about color the past few spring seasons, so seeing a sea of blue this year is super refreshing. This past Friday, I found my new  ‘it’ pair of jeans (after a whole lot of searching around).

I’ve actually never been a huge Current & Elliot fan; however these were just perfect. They appear a bit lighter in the photo than in reality. The key with ripped jeans is making sure the ‘holes’ are in the appropriate place on your body. For example, since everyone’s body is different the rips can fall below the knee on those that are shorter (yup that’s me) or above for those that may be on the taller side! Also, the last thing you want is skin pouring out of the holes!

The Skinny is my personal favorite silhouette for this style of denim, however I do love the boyfriend. Being that I am only 5″1 , finding the ‘perfect boyfriend jean’ for me is a bit challenging.  That will be my next “project find”. My friend Rebecca tried on the Rag & Bone boyfriend  Friday while shopping and they looked insane on her!
