Almost 3 weeks ago I lightly sprained my ankle while running, which has been super frustrating. I love to add runs into my workout regime to break up the weight training, spinning and whatever else I may add that week. Well, today I am feeling better and plan to return to the Equinox treadmill (counting down the days to where I can comfortably run in Central Park).
I find the most effective runs for me are when I run intervals rotating between my sprint and jog speeds. As sprinting on a recovering sprained ankle isn’t the best idea, I plan to run for distance at a lighter speed to get myself adjusted back. ┬áIn order to motivate myself, I have created a new playlist that I will share with you today. Most of the tunes are available on Itunes however those that aren’t I’ve included below.
